Technical delivery of the website
When the website is requested, its technical infrastructure processes data transmitted by your browser. This may include the IP address, time and destination of the request, data volume, referrer, browser type, operating system and request status.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain stability and security and detect misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of the website.
SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses HTTPS with SSL/TLS technology to encrypt data transmitted between your browser and the web server. This protects transmitted data against interception or alteration by unauthorised third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser's address bar.
Website encryption does not automatically cover an email sent through your own email application. Information about submitting application documents is provided in the “Applications” section.
Contacting NP4
On the contact page, you can select a topic. “Send enquiry by email” opens your email application with a prepared enquiry to contact@np4.net. The website does not send the message. The prepared enquiry is sent to NP4 only when you send the email yourself.
When you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide to handle your request. Depending on its content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual communication, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other business enquiries.
Applications
If you apply for an advertised position or submit an unsolicited application to NP4, we process the application and contact data you provide to assess your suitability, skills and professional performance for the relevant position and decide whether to establish an employment relationship. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Article 88 GDPR and section 26(1) BDSG.
Where you expressly consent to further processing, in particular to retaining your application for longer, that processing is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) in conjunction with Article 7 GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. Where processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations, it is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Applications are currently accepted by email at jobs@np4.net and treated confidentially. Access is limited to the persons responsible for the recruitment process. The jobs page opens your email application; the page itself does not submit application data to a website server. Your application is sent to NP4 only when you send the email yourself.
Email is not guaranteed to be end-to-end encrypted without additional measures. Even where transport encryption is available, emails may in some circumstances be accessed or altered by unauthorised persons. SSL/TLS encryption of this website does not automatically protect this separate email transmission.
If the position you applied for is already filled or your application appears suitable for another position within our company, we will discuss forwarding it to the persons responsible for that position with you in advance.
After the recruitment process has ended, we delete your application data when it is no longer required, no later than six months afterwards, unless a statutory retention obligation applies or you have expressly consented to longer retention.
Cookies and consent management
Technically necessary cookies from NP4 and the Wix infrastructure are used to deliver this website securely and reliably. They are used in particular to store your consent decision, detect fraud and attacks, protect sessions and APIs, maintain stability, and support rendering and technical delivery.
The current website does not use optional analytics, marketing, retargeting or social-media trackers. No cookies or comparable technologies are therefore currently assigned to the Functional, Analytics or Marketing categories. Indexing publicly accessible pages by search engines such as Google is independent of analytics cookies. The necessary cookie “np4_cookie_consent” stores your cookie choice for 6 months.
Where storage or access on your device is strictly necessary to provide the digital service you expressly request, it is used without consent under section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Future non-essential technologies will only be activated after consent under section 25(1) TDDDG and, where personal data is processed, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can change or withdraw a choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Wix notes that additional cookies may be added depending on components, apps or integrations used. The inventory below reflects the necessary cookies intended for the current NP4 website configuration and will be updated when the technical setup changes.

LinkedIn link
The website header contains a simple external link to NP4's LinkedIn company page. This website does not load a LinkedIn plugin, LinkedIn Insight Tag, embedded feed or comparable LinkedIn code. Merely displaying the link therefore does not establish a connection to LinkedIn.
Only when you actively select the LinkedIn link do you leave the NP4 website and your browser connects to LinkedIn. LinkedIn may then process information such as your IP address, device and browser information, as well as cookies or similar technologies used on LinkedIn. The NP4 link is opened with “noreferrer”, so no referrer should be transmitted to LinkedIn through this link.
For users in the European Economic Area, LinkedIn's privacy notice identifies LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, as controller for processing within LinkedIn's services. LinkedIn is responsible for the scope, purposes and legal bases of that processing.
Recipients and processors
Carefully selected service providers may be used for technical delivery, maintenance and security. Where they process personal data on our behalf, they are contractually bound and may only process the data on instruction.
Data is only transferred to further recipients where permitted or required by law, necessary to perform a contract, or covered by your consent.
Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as required for its purpose or by statutory retention obligations. Business correspondence is deleted or restricted after the enquiry has been completed unless legal or contractual reasons require further retention.
Your rights
To exercise your rights, contact privacy@np4.net. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Security and updates
NP4 uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Transmission of this website is encrypted.
We update this privacy notice when the website, the procedures used or legal requirements change. The German version is authoritative; this English version is provided for convenience.
