All existing data at www.np4.net that can be found and stored on the server is protected from illegal access by consecutively connected security systems. NP4 GmbH employees and the system service provider regularly check the efficacy of the protection.
If you leave our page, for instance by clicking on our banner advertisements, and thereby enter foreign pages, your address data of the clicked on target pages (so called “Cookies”) could possibly be set. NP4 GmbH is not legally responsible for foreign Cookie access through its pages. For usage of such Cookies by our advertising partners and stored information, please refer to the data protection policy and the following further explanation of cookies in point 7.
6. Automatically Captured Non-personal Data
When you access our website, automatically (i.e. not through registration) created information will occasionally be stored that is not related to a specific person/ user (e.g. via an internet browser or operating system; domain names of websites, from which, via a web-link, the access occurs; amount of visits; average duration of visit; clicked pages). We use this information to continuously improve and update our website presence as well as to increase the attractiveness. The data cannot be assigned to a specific person, but only used for statistical purposes.
7. Cookie Creation
If you visit our website, it could be that information in cookie form is stored on your computer. This stored information will automatically recognize the next time you visit our page. Cookies enable us, among other things, to adapt a website to your wishes or to save your passwords so that you do not have to retype them. The following explains the functionality of Cookies in detail:
- Surfing the internet and thereby accessing single pages leaves data tracks on the internet as well as on the user’s PC(s).
- The remaining data tracks on a PC could be problematic if they are stored in a directory that various users can access.
- If information from the internet is accessed, it could be that the information provider saves a small file, the so-called “Cookie” on the user’s PC. If the user later accesses the webpage again, the Cookie on the local PC is forwarded to the information provider. Using this information, a connection is established between the past and current access.
If you do not wish that we read information about your computer, you may set your internet browser to delete Cookies from your hard-drive, block all Cookies, or warn you before a Cookie is saved or stored. You may then purposefully decide when you wish to accept Cookies.
8. Forwarding Data to Third Parties
NP4 will not sell, loan, or otherwise surrender your personal data to third parties. NP4 does not forward your data to third parties except when you are interested in products or services of third parties. We need your explicit consent to forward your data to a third party.
9. Personal Data Security
Because NP4 feels obliged to secure your personal data to avoid illegal data access or disclosure, we have technical and organizational procedures in place to protect and safely collect data; NP4 guarantees the accuracy and legal use of your data.
Data acquisition or forwarding of confidential data (e.g. credit card numbers) is done through SSL encryption (SSL = Secure Sockets Layer). This guarantees that only NP4 can read the data. This security standard is active when an unbroken key or a closed/ locked padlock appears in the bottom of your browser window (browser dependant).
Credit card numbers are strictly used to handle payments. NP4 performs real time payment processing in close cooperation with security authorities. This helps you and NP4 to maintain data security, avoid credit card fraud and protect your financial data from misuse.
